My Vehicle Failed the Emissions Test. Now What?

You must have your vehicle repaired and pass a retest.

If eligible, the Voluntary Vehicle Repair Program (VVRP) will pay a portion of your emissions-related vehicle repairs after a failed emissions test. Apply online or at the emissions testing station to see if you qualify. Repairs must be completed within 60 days of enrollment and performed at an approved repair facility, such as Vinson/Haas Automotive, Inc.

After your $100 co-pay, Arizona will pay up to $900 toward repairs and guarantee your vehicle will pass emissions testing. Upon passing, you may renew your registration with ADOT.

Vinson/Haas Automotive, Inc. is certified to perform repairs in the event your vehicle fails its emissions test. We serve Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe, and surrounding areas.
